Golden Retriever Daily ("we", "us") is a community-run website about golden retrievers. This page explains what information is handled when you visit goldenretrieverdaily.com.

What we collect

We don't ask you to create an account and the site has no comment section. Our free Golden Retriever Puppy Checklist is a direct PDF download; it does not ask for your email or create a subscription. We don't knowingly collect other personal information such as your name, address or phone number through this site.

Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically processes standard technical data, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse.

Free checklist download

No mailing list or email delivery service is connected. The checklist downloads directly from this website, without an email address. The former signup endpoint no longer accepts signups and does not read, store or log submitted form fields.

Cookies and analytics

At the time of writing, this site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add privacy-friendly analytics or advertising in the future, we will update this policy first. Some pages contain or will contain affiliate links, which are explained on our affiliate disclosure page. Following an affiliate link takes you to the retailer's site, which may set its own cookies.

Links to other sites

Our guides link to outside sources, such as veterinary schools and breed organizations, and to our Facebook group. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and Facebook handles any information you share there under its own terms. We are not responsible for the practices of other sites.

Photos

Photos on this site are used under their original open licenses, with credit to the photographer (see our photo credits). If we ever feature a community member's photo, we ask the owner's permission first.

Children

This site is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site grows. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
